Google is organizing a coding contest for all of you who r interesting in Programming. The name of the Competition is Google Code Jam 2010 Contest.
The Google Code Jam 2010 Contest (“Contest”) is a competition designed to engage programmers from around the world in algorithmic programming. Prizes will be awarded to those contestants who have the highest scores on a series of programming problems.
This competition has 5 rounds:-
1.Qualification Round-
start on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 23:00 UTC (4:00 PM PT), ending on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 23:00 UTC (4:00 PM PT)
2.Online Round 1-
from Saturday, May 22, 2010 to Sunday, May 23, 2010.
3&4. Online Rounds 2 and 3-
From Saturday June 5, 2010 at 14:00 UTC (7:00 AM PT) to Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 16:30 UTC (9:30 AM PT)
5. Onsite Final Round-
Friday, July 30, 2010
Online rounds will be open for 24 hrs. you can participate anytime in between those hours.
1st Place | $5,000 |
2nd Place | $2,000 |
3rd Place | $1,000 |
4th—25th Place | $100 |
