Amazing fact: Save RAM Memory Usage just by minimizing Applications

नमस्कार friends,
Do you know you can save your Ram memory space just by minimizing the applications???
Its surprising that when you minimize any application than you can decrease minimum 1/3 memory usage of ur system....
Lets test it....
1. Open any application lets say calculator or anything u wish....
2. Now open task manager by pressing ctrl+ alt + delete
3. Now in applicatios tab, right click the application that you have opened for testing.... then click on "go to precess".
4. Ok, Now in process tab check the memory usage by that application...
5. Now minimize the application and again check the memory usage....
Got the difference???? So always keep applications minimize that is not being used currently....
6. Not only this..... if you maximize the application after minimize it first then also the memory usage will be very much less than before...
So always do minimize applications for once after opening to save memory

Hi Dear, I have tried this but its working on some of the applications. Like you have mentioned Calculator. There its working amazingly but some of the application that is highly memory consumer like eclipse or firefox does not get affected in any state. So is there any logic behind this?

di,
Its a very gud question.....
ok, i consider that u 9 the concept behind ram and virtual ram.... when an application stays in ram only and when it takes memory from virtual ram...
In Case of large memory consumer applications mostely usd part of memory is virtual, and in case of virtual ram this dont get effect....
The larger applications like eclipse opens directly in virtual ram, but firefox is exactly not a large application, it become large when we browse.
For eg: u open firefox without browsing anything or without connecting to net, and then again try the whole procedure, then u'll find the memory is decreases in same way as i wrote here.... but same try after browsing...then it will not effect....
I hope u understand now.... ;)
